Today, Nana and I had a fantastic day. First we went to Fike early in the morning. I shot some hoops and worked out. Nana worked out too. It was definitely a great start for our fun day.
After our morning workout we went to get our favorite iced teas. Soon after finishing our mid day meals we arrived in Anderson and started our shopping trip. Our first stop was Publix's grocery store. Nana of course always being so thoughtful of other people bought Grandad and I our favorite cookies and donuts.
We finished our shopping trip with Michaels, Target and Books-A-Million. Nana bought clothes for me and my mom. She also bought me a brand new planner for school and a mini-calendar.
We had a great day today. Nana and I shared a lot of laughs. She is so fun to be around and I love her very much. What a beautiful day and memories to cherish forever.

Tailgate Group Dinner Meeting
We had a funny incident last evening. We went to Paesano's Restautrant, a local eatery, to meet our tailgating group for dinner and discussion about the upcoming football season. We universally bemoaned the fact that Clemson had been picked to win the ACC title this year -- the kiss of death.
One couple out of the four that were to meet, at 6:30 pm, was missing in action. They were the ones who had made the reservation for the group, so we were concerned why they were not there. They have a reputation for being extremely prompt always tending to show up early for meetings rather than late. We called their cell phone and got no answer -- ditto on their home phone. Still concerned, we decided that there must have been a mixup -- so we went ahead and ordered our meals. The dishes were good and nicely presented -- we had a nice waitress with a good sense of humor.
About an hour and twenty minutes late, our missing friends arrived looking rather sheepish. They had indeed made a mistake on their calendar (actually they had two calendars which had different information) and discovered the error almost an hour after our scheduled meeting time. It was too late for them to order food, so George had a beer and Cathy had a chocolate martini. We all had a good laugh about the mixup and departed in good moods.
